Bakx Stem XL

A single bakx stem approximately 142mm in length 

1mm stem wall thickness

Internal mass = 1 internal glass mass  green, black and clear spiralled mass

Bowl size large

It's because I like to use my bakx natively and also because I'm clumsy I ended up getting into the whole melting and poking glass thing.

All Stems have tested to fit on my personal devices

Grasp stem in the centre on an undimpled section and insert straight into the opening, if you find there is more resistance from your devices o-ring than you expected apply a small amount of water for example to the end of the stem and retry.

Don’t not waggle from side to side or twist while inserting stems.

Bakx Stems should be inserted with the cap off the device initially with the final adjustments to the bowl position be made once that is done, if you don’t do this you vastly increase the risk of damage to the bakx’s internal glass (this applies to any bakx stem not just ones from here)

All stems are washed after the kiln and then dried in the oven to minimise water stains but I do live in a hard water area so some stems may have some marks, these will wash off when you rinse the stem before first use. I'm trying different ideas to prevent this currently so hope that I can delete this section soon.
